When in Athens, enjoy a meal or a beverage of choice with a fantastic view of the ancient Acropolis to really enhance your experience. Either by day against a blue sky, at sunset with a crimson and orange sky lit up with brilliant white lights in the evening, the Acropolis is absolutely captivating, never disappoints and makes for a Instagram worthy pictures and stunning background scenery for you and your companions.

1)  Dionysos Zonar
A stand alone ground floor restaurant just across parking lot of Acropolis with amazing view and event space.  Very upscale, great for groups and special events or occasions and worth a visit.  

​Dionysos is nestled in the shadow of the rock of Acropolis. in the heart of the historic center of Athens. This restaurant is located in the Plaka district of Athens, and has been serving traditional Greek cuisine since 1865. The restaurant has a terrace with views of the Acropolis.

The ​GB Roof Garden Restaurant and Bar is located on the 8th floor of the iconic 5-Star Hotel Grande Bretagne.  If you are watching the changing of the guards at Syntagma square you can't miss seeing this historic hotel so stop in to see their view. 

​It is a little farther away from the Acropolis but has a nice view of Athens and a great place for lunch, bites or drinks.   Also see what socialites or celebrities are staying at this luxury hotel.
