Greece, the birthplace of democracy and the Olympic Games is a world-class destination with amazing culture, history, food and scenery. Everyone should visit Greece and the Greek islands at least once as you will return a changed person by the beauty, hospitality, traditions and historical references you will encounter. Greece has over 6,000 islands (not all are occupied), making it tough to decide which ones to include during your vacation. But if you're only going to have time for a few, here are our Top 5 Greek Islands to Visit that offer a wide variety of luxury accommodations and many first-class beaches and activities:

A volcanic chain of islands located in the Pacific Ocean about 2000 miles from the mainland, Hawail is a dream destination for good reason. The islands offer stunning natural beauty, a rich culture, endless activities, and a relaxed vibe for visitors to enjoy. Hawaii is a fantastic group, family and couple vacation destination and never disappoints. Visitors have their choice of visiting one or multiple islands all with a different feel and scenery. Here are our top reasons to visit Hawaii: 1) No Passport, visas or currency exchange needed: Hawaii was named our 50th state in 1959 making travel, living and working in this tropical paradise just the same as any other state in the mainland or Alaska (except you have to fly over water to get there). But Hawaii is not like any other state on the mainland, the state’s lush islands, blue water, mountains, scenery and genuine aloha spirit of the natives will instantly put you in vacation mode and make you feel like you are in a different world. Scotland is a beautiful country with a rich history, culture and friendly people. Scotland is a great family and couples vacation destination. There are many amazing things to see and do in Scotland, from exploring its historic cities and castles to hiking in its stunning mountains and forests. Additionally, Scotland is famously known as the home of golf, bagpipes, whisky and Scotland's stunning scenery has been featured in many popular movies including the Harry Potter series. Scotland is a great summer destination to escape the summer heat and enjoy cooler moderate weather. If you are one of the millions of Americans with Scottish descent, tracing your family's heritage and clan is also very popular. The best times to visit Scotland for weather are from May to September with August being the peak season for summer festivals. Here are my top 10 recommendations for things to see and do for your Scotland itinerary: If you're a frequent traveler or taking a family vacation or city vacation, you know how frustrating it can be to find parking. You circle the block for hours, only to end up paying an arm and a leg for a spot. But there's a better way: parking mobile apps. Case in point, I just returned from a family vacation to Michigan that included staying one night in a downtown Chicago hotel. To make our Chicago short stayover convenient for everyone I had fully intended to "bow to fate" and pay the extreme nightly price of $90 for hotel valet parking for our 4-star hotel just off Michigan Avenue and then return our rental car at the airport the next day before flying home. However, the best laid plans don't always work. The hotel was very crowded when we arrived and a parking valet or bellman was nowhere to be found. I helped my family with their luggage into the lobby and they waited to check-in while I continued to wait for a bellman or parking valet. While waiting, I opened my mobile parking app and quickly located a highly rated secure garage parking only 100 yards away for only $46 for 24 hours of self-parking (half the cost of the hotel valet price). I purchased the overnight parking on the mobile app, received instructions and a code to open the parking gate and joined my family back at the hotel within 10 minutes. Getting the car back from the secure garage and loading up the car with luggage from the hotel was easy. Read on for more information on mobile parking apps and our recommendations: |
