France joins a growing list of European countries banning unvaccinated US travelers.
Beginning Sunday, September 12th, only Vaccinated US travelers will be permitted to enter France on vacation or non-essential travel.
Non-vaccinated travelers can only visit for essential reasons and need a negative COVID-19 test. They also must isolate for seven days upon arrival.
On the positive side, vaccinated US travelers should feel safe once they arrive into France and will enjoy an open and mainly unrestricted country due to the high vaccination rate of citizens and residents.
Visitors will still need to show vaccination proof to visit restaurants and ride on trains as well as visit popular tourist destinations such as museums and the Eiffel Tower but once admitted masks are often not required.

Hooray and Cheers! Thanks to an approximately 90% adult vaccination rate and low daily COVID19 infection rate, Ireland's Prime Minister announced plans to drop most of their COVID restrictions as of October 19, 2021. After a series of phased easing of restrictions, there will no longer be requirements for physical distancing or wearing a mask while either indoors or outdoors beginning October 22, 2021.
Hooray!! Finally, travel is reopening again globally. Despite some temporary setbacks due to the latest surge in the Delta Variant, travel continues to reopen around the world for fully vaccinated travelers.
We expect this trend to continue as vaccination rates increase internationally. Cruising is also coming back with success thanks to the cruise line’s requirements for 100% staff and guest vaccinations.
